The Dryer Cleaner™ device safely and effectively removes build-up from paper dryer surfaces. Particularly suited for machines producing grades from recycled fibers, the Dryer Cleaner device is available with application-specific abrasive pads to clean and polish dryer surfaces.

Doctor blades are used to remove contaminants and other matter from dryer surfaces. Over time, the build-up on the dryer surface requires additional cleaning to ensure good heat transfer and dryer surface temperature uniformity.

 

Kadant's Dryer Cleaner device allows buildup to be removed without costly surface regrinds or special release coatings. Using the Dryer Cleaner device during regularly scheduled downtime can improve the condition of the dryer surface. The Dryer Cleaner device fits into conventional doctor blade holders and incorporates application specific cleaning pads for cleaning polishing the surface of paper drying cylinders.
