Kadant is a global supplier of key systems to chemical pulping mills with significant installations in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. Comprised of Goslin™ Evaporation and Recausticizing systems and Kadant's Chemi-Washer® and screens, we offer a significant step forward for the pulp mill interested in quality improvement, energy reduction, and environmental compliance issues.
Our Goslin Products group pioneered the high solids Concentrator, allowing significant additional recovery boiler capacity firing at solids levels of over 75%, and now has over 100 systems installed worldwide. In addition, our innovations in the recausticizing process for recovering cooking chemicals in the kraft and soda processes provide economic solutions for chemical pulp mill operations.
The Chemi-Washer® system offers a unique, single machine approach to pulp washing, providing simplicity of operation, water economy, and high washing efficiencies. Coupled with our proven line of knotting and screening technology, we can deliver results on applications ranging from hardwood kraft to softwood sulfite.
Kadant supplies complete washing and screening plants, evaporation and recausticizing plants in the recovery island, and pulp washers and screens in the pulping area. Systems are customized on the basis of production rates, fiber species and pulping methods, as well as emerging environmental regulations to provide a high value and quick return on investment.
