Virtually maintenance-free - available in three widths: 33", 66", 99" (838, 1676, 25 1 5 mm) with many different slot sizes from which to choose- Simple design - permits a wide range of applications in the woodroom, pulp mill and paper mill for dewatering, fiber classification and as a saveall
- Different slot widths available - two or three different slot widths are available on the same screening surface for dilute applications, or when white water quality is a determining factor
- Minimize slot widths - typically, the first 20% of the plate would have 0.007" slots, the next 20% would have 0.010" slots, and the remaining 60%, 0.020" slots. This minimizes slot width where the stock is most dilute and where it has the greatest change in angular momentum. Then, the 0.020" slots can be used to maximize capacity and thickening, even in dilute applications.
- Patented parabolic screening surface - provides a change in the angular momentum and varying slot opening for maximum capacity and highest operating efficiency. Thus, the slot opening is the smallest where the stock is most dilute and the change in angular momentum is greatest.
- Non-clogging inlet nozzle - no inlet levers to push and no operator inspection required.
- Adjustable screening plate angle
- Low-pressure inlet-unique flow spreader - permits a large single inlet with full screening surface utilization.
- No special foundations -no moving parts
- Optional oscillating showers available - The Para-Flow™ is available with optional, intermittent oscillating showers, complete with timers, oscillator and solenoids. Normal operation is for 15 seconds on time, once every three minutes. Clarified or clean white water is required.
